Verusca Calabria has extensive experience in oral history theory and practise including sound and video production. She has recorded hundreds of hours of oral histories and has managed many projects to date. She has a first class degree in History and Cultural Studies and has studied life histories research at Sussex University.
Verusca is a Trustee and a networker of Oral History Society, providing advice and support for people wanting to do oral history and encouraging participation in the practice of oral history and discussion on methodology, technical and ethical issues by the publication of the Oral History Journal and conferences, training, meetings and a regional network. She was a member of ROC, the Remembering Olive Morris Collective, until it disbanded. Verusca is also a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher.

• The consultant for the Black Women’s Movement Oral History project.
• Producing educational videos for Icould Ltd.
• Collecting 2400 oral histories for the One and Other project.
• Researching the history of the British Italian community in London.
• Managing the Belonging in Brent Oral History project.
• Providing training to various NGOs.
