Katya Salmi

Katya Salmi is a PhD student and Associate Tutor at the University of Sussex and works as the administrator for the Feminist and Women’s Studies Association. While working as a freelance fieldworker on the Moroccan Memories in Britain Oral and Visual History Project, she began transcribing oral history interviews alongside conducting her own interviews. Since 2008 she has transcribed over 60 interviews for various oral history projects including Luton Voices, Belonging in Brent Oral History project, One and Other. Working to close deadlines and balancing several projects,
